πŸ™Œ Wednesday 12th August marks International Youth Day the theme for 2026 is "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations". This reflects that young people's lives are shaped by diverse contexts nationally and locally but they have joint aspirations to for dignity, opportunity and participation.

There are many opportunities for young people locally to participate in communities.

Glasgow Life are looking for young people who are actively committed to creating change in their local community and having a say in what happens there.

Glasgow's Youthbank will be young volunteers aged 12-18 who will act as grant-makers, making decisions about which activities and projects for young people should get funding.

A day when we get opportunity to celebrate the wonderful things that are happening in our community!

Last Saturday, Possilpark Community Council listened to many people at Your Community, Your Voice.
