Repair Cafe Heathfield and Horam The Repair Cafe has been created to give clients one last chance to repair and revive broken items. Our pictures give examples of what we can do!

It runs by local volunteers who give their time freely with the aim to reduce waste, reuse and save money. a community service

We would like to inform clients that if they require the repairer to purchase items for repairing their items that the repairer should receive the cost of the items purchased therefore please don't include in the Repair Cafe general donations box . We also would like to

inform anyone concerned that all donations received are 100% for the non-profit community repair cafe and also that no payments are made to any other organizations.

Anastasia repaired this Doll's house, perhaps you have something that needs to be repaired this June? If so the Repair Cafe will be at the Youth Club building next Saturday 13th between 9.30am and 12. We will be happy to see you and your item. There will be homemade cakes and drinks available while you wait at reasonable prices while you wait.

Today has been pretty warm 😎 but our volunteers were pretty busy.

We are still looking for volunteers. The repair cafe is every month on 2nd Saturday. Basic skills are needed.
For more details please do not hesitate to contact us or pay a visit on our next event and ask for Roger or Mary.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

The Repair Cafe in Heathfield and Horam are looking for local volunteers as we are getting busier.

We are particularly looking for basic knowledge on wood repairs, bicycles, electrical and mechanical repairs.

If you are interested or know someone who might be interested, please contact us via email or text. Or pop-in in the morning at the repair cafe - 2nd Saturday of each month 9am-12pm.

When you come in ask to see Roger or Mary who will show you around and hand you a volunteer form.

This Saturday 11th of April, the Heathfield and Horam Repair Café is on at the Heathfield Youth Hub, 9am-12pm.

Our volunteers will be there to look at your damaged items, ie: electrical equipment, computers, clocks, small mechanisms, bikes, sewing machines, fabric restorations, ceramic etc.

Also we’ll have some home made refreshments whilst you are waiting/browsing 🍰 ☕️ 😋

If you are not sure who we are and what we do come along and have a chat with us. 😊
