Come along to our special Pride Storytime!
10-10.45am, Saturday 27 June

Join us to read 3 stories about different things you might be proud of - whether it's who you are, what you can do, or even the people around you!
There will be a drawing and colouring activity afterwards to get children thinking about what makes them proud of themselves.

This Storytime is FREE - no booking required.
Recommended for ages 2-8, but all welcome!

SPACES REMAINING on our wonderful drawing workshop for adults this Thursday, 18th June!

1:30-2:30pm on Thursday 18/6
Cost = £2

Come along to be guided through drawing beautiful birds by our talented colleague, Liz.
These workshops happen every month, and are suitable for anyone from complete beginners to seasoned artists. All materials will be provided (though feel free to bring your own) and you will be supported throughout to practise your skills and create a sketch to be proud of!
Please book in advance to guarantee a place by either asking staff at Horley Library or emailing [email protected], leaving your name and a contact number.

This time our theme is "on the farm" so come prepared to make your favourite animals, the coolest tractors, or some big barnyard buildings

Cost = £1 per child
Recommended for ages 6+ (but younger siblings are welcome to come and play in our Duplo corner)

As the FIFA World Cup "kicks off" this evening, we have set ourselves the "goal" of lending as many children's footie books as possible over the course of the tournament. We've gone for a 4-4-2 formation of library assistants who are hoping to keep a "clean sheet" and not have any "offside" (that's overdue) books!
