A grand turn out in fine weather for our annual plant sale.

Many thanks to all those who donated their time to grow and pot up plants at home, bake cakes at their own expense and those who gave up their Sunday morning to raise well over £400 for the Village Hall.

It is much appreciated.

Since last Saturday, Howick has had some rare visitors in the form of 3 Common Cranes. These 4 ft tall birds have wandered the fields north of the village hall each day until Friday when they have continued their north bound migration being seen passing Skateraw in Lothian. We hope you managed to see them...
