Calling all budding adventurers!

Join us for two sessions of Dungeons and Dragons at Invergordon Library during the October Holidays! These sessions were extremely popular during the summer, and we’re excited to run them again.

For ages 12-17. Adult accompaniment is not essential, but any accompanying adults must be family members/carers of teen attendees.

Dungeons and Dragons is a popular fantasy tabletop game where adventurers embark on epic quests in medieval themed worlds. Create a character to bring along with you, or one will be provided for you.

Booking for both sessions is essential and spaces are limited to 8 players.

To book, please email [email protected]

Get ready, lovely readers, to celebrate Wee Read! 📚

But what is Wee Read, I hear you ask?

The Wee Read is a simple, distinctly Scottish invitation to celebrate the joy of reading as part of the National Year of Reading 2026! 📖

We're asking as many people as possible to pledge to read for six minutes. Just six minutes of reading has been shown to reduce stress! 💙

And you can read anything! Books, newspapers, magazines—any source of reading material for 6 minutes is perfect.

Join us as we celebrate reading and libraries. Pop into the library anytime on the 7th of October and settle down with a good book.

To pledge your reading and find out more, visit www.weeread.scot.
