A special shoutout to our fantastic factory team 👏

During our 150 Years Showcase, visitors had the opportunity to go behind the scenes and see first-hand the skill, craftsmanship and dedication that goes into manufacturing Wicksteed play equipment.

Our factory tours were one of the highlights of the event, and that's thanks to the amazing team who proudly shared their knowledge, answered questions and showcased what happens every day at our Kettering HQ.

Not everyone is pictured, but this thank you goes out to every member of our factory team for helping make the Showcase such a memorable experience.

What a couple of days! 🎉

Our 150 Years Showcase brought together partners and industry peers to celebrate British manufacturing, share ideas, explore the future of play and, as these photos prove, embrace their playful side too!

From factory tours and site visits to networking, guest speakers and testing out the equipment first-hand, it was fantastic to see so many people getting involved and making the most of the experience.

Who says play is just for kids? 😉

As part of our International Day of Play celebrations, some of our visitors couldn't resist putting our play equipment to the test during their factory tour.

The theme this year is "Protect Play, Protect Childhood", but perhaps today is also a reminder that play doesn't stop when we grow up.

Whether you're young or simply young at heart, there's something about climbing, balancing, swinging and exploring that brings out the child in all of us.

It’s amazing what just 31 minutes of play can do.

From boosting confidence and creativity to supporting physical and mental wellbeing, play isn’t just fun, it’s essential.

This International Day of Play, the theme is "Protect Play, Protect Childhood" recognising the important role play has in helping children learn, grow and thrive.

That’s why we’re supporting the and calling on schools across the UK & Ireland to give children an extra 31 minutes of play.

Because protecting play means protecting the moments that help shape childhood.

We were so proud to attend an event at Number 10 Downing Street to help champion the power of play.

At Wicksteed, we believe every child deserves the right to play — regardless of their background, ability or where they live. Inclusive, engaging and thoughtfully designed play spaces give children opportunities to explore, build confidence, develop friendships and simply enjoy being children.

It’s so important that the value of play remains at the forefront of conversations around communities, childhood and wellbeing, and we’re proud to be part of a day helping raise awareness of just how essential play is for children and families.
