It’s during these times as business owners and operators we find ourselves with thoughts of how to turn the current climate in tune with our own businesses.

With this in mind, working with Worcester BID and Worcestershire LEP, we are able to offer a series of free business growth courses and run a peer to peer network.

Through this we will enable you to discuss challenges, gain valuable feedback and share ideas on implementing practical solutions to overcome queries and concerns.

The support is free and comes with 18 hours of facilitated learning with a dedicated 3.5 hours of one to one time.

Courses start 25th Jan 2021, so get signed up. Discover more here: https://kidderminsterbid.co.uk/a-free-package-of-business-support/

We are very sorry that today's waste collection has been cancelled because of the snow, which has made the side roads and pavements unsafe. (We would have been visiting areas due for a collection on Friday 1st January today. We will be looking to collect on Monday 4th January instead - a week today- and apologise for any inconvenience. So, if this is relevant to you, please take your bin in until then.)

We have a small crew working though until 10.00am this morning supporting with snow clearance and gritting.

Toilets will remain closed and no other services will be running today after 10.00am.

Tuesday's work including waste collection will be reviewed and assessed in the morning. Therefore please can residents whose bin collection is due on Tuesday 29 December leave their bins out as usual.

Please continue to check in here for updates.

Our Story...

Kidderminster Town Council was created on 1 December 2015 by the Kidderminster (Reorganisation of Community Governance) Order 2015. It was invited to agree a resolution at its first meeting to adopt the status of a town and the style of a town council.

Wyre Forest carried out a review which was to establish whether to create a parish for the town. As part of the Review, the Council held a Local Advisory Poll in May 2015. It asked Kidderminster residents, who were registered to vote, ‘Should Kidderminster have a Town Council?.’ Almost 80% (79.1%) voted in favour.
