😊 There are five low-cost food hubs that can help all residents save money on their groceries throughout the year across the Borough, including during the summer holidays.

You can reduce the cost of your weekly food shop by registering at one of our Bread and Butter Thing hubs as you can pick up three bags of good quality food for £8.50 which always includes fresh fruit and vegetables, chilled food for the fridge or freezer and a selection of cupboard staples.

The food provided is surplus sourced from supermarkets, factories, and farms, which contributes to a reduction on the amount of food that goes into landfill at each hub.

The five hubs across the Borough are as follows:

We're proud to work with local partners to create opportunities like these and support people to live well 💛⚽

Around 150 local residents came together at a recent community event in Primrose Hill, Stockton, organised by our employability and communities teams.

Working alongside Primrose FC, the event brought local families together for an afternoon of football, other sports activities and community engagement.

The day was packed with opportunities for young people and families to get active, connect with others and spend time together in their community.

Events like this help bring people together, promote positive wellbeing and create stronger local connections 💛

The day was also a great success for Primrose FC, who raised £350 through food and bake sales. The fundraising will help support the club's ongoing work with local young people and families, including contributing towards an upcoming trip.

We're proud to support initiatives like this and look forward to continuing to work together to create positive opportunities and stronger communities for local people.

Bank holiday opening hours 🗓️

Our phone lines and Touchpoint stores will be closed on Monday 31 August due to the bank holiday.

We'll be back open as normal Tuesday 1 September.
