Rhyme time, with stories and songs for pre school children is here in the library tomorrow and every Tuesday during term time 11-12am.

This week, some numbers: 20 adult and 28 great new children's titles have landed, come in quickly to snap them up. 18 children made these fantastic spinning drums at craft club, and 20 completed their Summer Reading Challenge- nice work!
Still two weeks to go for those children who haven't finished, so why not come for lego club tomorrow?
Next week it's the start of "Unicorn Fortnight"🦄
Rhyme Time begins again on Tuesday 11-12 🤩 plus a Housing Officer from Swindon Borough Council will be here on Friday. 🏠

A great week of the Summer Holiday Reading Challenge- apart from the heat! Don't forget, you can still enrol your child, just three visits wins their certificate and medal. The Challenge continues until 12th September.

If you like history, women and libraries…

Join us for this Heritage Open Days talk where we will be discussing what everyday life was like for women in Swindon in the 19th and 20th centuries. We will explore where women worked, how they spent their free time, how they ran their homes, and why a gas supply may have been the ideal wedding gift. Thursday 17th September, 7pm at Swindon Central Library. There is no need to book.
