With warm weather forecast this weekend and into next week, more of us will enjoy spending time in, on, or around water, so it’s important to stay safe.

Almost half (47%) of UK accidental drownings happen between May and August, with higher risks during warmer weather.

Keep yourself and your family safe:
• Check for hazards, including depth, currents, tides, and hidden underwater objects.
• Stay together and swim in lifeguarded areas.

In an emergency:
• Call 999 immediately
• If you fall in or become tired, stay calm, float on your back, and call for help

What a fantastic and well-deserved smile Anna is wearing! 🎉

Anna is incredibly determined to achieve, listens attentively, and always brings a positive attitude to her swimming lessons. This brilliant approach has helped her successfully pass Stage 4 — a fantastic achievement!

Anna has developed a strong leg kick across all four strokes and is now well on her way to developing and mastering the full competitive strokes.

🌟 Superstar Swimmer – Sophie! 🌟

What a superstar swimmer Sophie is! 🎉 She has worked extremely hard to successfully pass Stage 3 and has also demonstrated the skills required to achieve Water Safety 1 while swimming a strong and confident 10 metres on both her front and back.

Sue commented on how Sophie always gives her very best in every lesson and how proud she is of Sophie’s hard work, determination, and positive attitude in the water.

Swim School will still be going ahead as normal both days from 4pm.
Aqua Zuma will be going ahead 7pm-8pm Wednesday 27th.

A massive congratulations to Ajeet for successfully passing Stage 2! 🎉

Ajeet has worked incredibly hard to transition from being a beginner paddling across the pool on his front and back, to developing the early stages of a confident front crawl and back crawl stroke. His progress has been fantastic to watch.

He has now settled into Stage 3 brilliantly and is already demonstrating some impressive skills to his new Stage 3 teacher.

A huge congratulations to Darcey, who has completed an incredible 400m swim! 🎉

This extraordinary feat consisted of 16 lengths without a pause, showing fantastic stamina, determination, and focus throughout the entire swim. Darcey maintained a strong stroke and excellent technique from start to finish, making sure her swimming at the end was just as strong as it was at the beginning.

👏 What an amazing achievement, Darcey! Your hard work and dedication are truly paying off — we’re so proud of you! 💙🏊‍♀️✨
