The Summer Reading Challenge finishes on Saturday 5th September, so now's the time to help/remind your children to finish their reading. When they visit us they can then collect their final set of stickers, certificate, medal and prize draw ticket! We've got 2 goody bags for 4-11yr olds and 1 goody bag for the mini challenge - which will be drawn at our closing time 12:30pm on Saturday 5th September. Winners will be contacted on Monday 7th September - you have to be in it to win it!

Free, fun-filled Play & Learn summer sessions in Grove!

📅 Mondays: 3 August and 17 August, 10 – 11am
📍 St. John The Baptist Church

Through play, little ones can explore, discover and learn at their own pace while building confidence, creativity and key early development skills. From messy play and sensory activities to storytelling, songs and imaginative play, there's something to bring smiles to every child’s face.

Make new friends, meet other local families and pick up ideas on how you can help your child learn at home.

The Family Hub team will also be on hand to give advice on everything from pregnancy and local baby groups to parenting advice, child development support and help with everyday challenges.

The question 'What did we do before?' has been answered for us by the Oxfordshire Museum Service again! We've got another wonderful display of entertainment and technology artefacts, along with a bumper set of b+w photos to peruse. Do pause and have a look next time you visit 👍

Our display pods this month have different themes: Bring on the Band! features titles from our Local Studies collections, and 'Branch Out' is all about trees, woods, forests, or possibly just have books with a picture of a tree on the front 😉
