This week we’re working at the incredible St John’s Smith Square in Westminster, carrying out conservation work on the towers — all from ropes!

Built between 1714 and 1728, this remarkable Queen Anne church was designed by Baroque architect Thomas Archer. It was badly damaged by fire during the Blitz in 1941, leaving much of the building in ruins before its eventual restoration.

Over 300 years of history, a few wartime scars, and plenty of stonework to keep us busy! 🏛️🪨

We’ve finished relocating the Horsey Monument at Sherborne Abbey. 👌🏽

Its new location works incredibly well and we’re super pleased that it can now be fully admired by all of the Abbeys visitors.
