The Office of the Registrar of Companies has officially commenced Risk Awareness Week 2026 under the theme:

“Building a Risk-Smart ORC: Strengthening Resilience, Accountability and Service Excellence.”

The four-day programme is focused on strengthening a culture where risks are identified early, discussed openly, owned and actively managed before they affect our operations and service delivery.

At the opening ceremony, the Registrar of Companies, Mrs. Maame Samma Peprah Esq., challenged staff across directorates and zonal offices to take ownership of the risks within their areas of work and make risk management part of everyday decision-making.

With activities including Directorate Risk Engagements, a Risk Awareness Campaign, Health & Wellness and Organisational Resilience sessions, and a Risk Management Educational Symposium & Awards Ceremony, the week is designed to move risk management from policy into everyday practice.

Risk management is not the responsibility of one department. It is a shared responsibility.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) wishes to inform our valued clients and the general public that the Office will close at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, 24th September 2026, and Friday, 25th September 2026, due to scheduled internal operational activities.

Normal business operations will resume at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, 28th September 2026.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your kind understanding and cooperation.
