Dr. Elizabeth Von-Kiti Completes Prestigious STIAS Residency Fellowship in South Africa.
The CSIR-Institute of Industrial Research (CSIR-IIR) continues to strengthen its international research footprint through strategic engagement with globally respected academic and research institutions. This commitment was recently demonstrated through the successful residency fellowship of Dr. Elizabeth Von-Kiti at the Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study( STIAS) in South Africa.
Dr. Von-Kiti participated in the highly competitive Iso Lomso Fellowship residency hosted by Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study (STIAS). The STIAS Residency Fellowship is an internationally recognized for promoting interdisciplinary scholarship, innovation, and intellectual exchange among leading researchers from across the world. The award is for 3years (2026 - 2029) with 3months residence each year till 2029.

Our institute offers professional metrology services to support quality control, research, and industrial production. Our team performs measurement, calibration, and inspection using modern equipment to ensure reliable results and compliance with industry standards.
Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art calibration laboratories in the areas of Mass, Electricity, Pressure, Acoustic and Temperature. We are also equipped with workshops for the repairs of microscopes and electronic measuring equipment as well as offer technical training in above mentioned areas.
