Our Study Tours from 4-H Canada and Challenging Pioneers have gone home but Penn State are still here for another few days. We are in Kerry at the moment enjoying our beautiful countryside. Before Kerry we were in Limerick and had fun at the Bunratty Medieval Banquet and sheep dog demonstration.

UPDATE: These two students are now placed but we do have others still available if anyone is looking for an extra pair of hands in June.

FARMING FRIENDS WE NEED YOUR HELP. We still have a few Austrian agricultural students to place for June and we need your help to place them. We have a 16 year old boy who comes from an arable farm in Austria and they also have pigs. He is looking for a placement from 20th June to 15th August. His first choice is a dairy farm. The second student we need help to place is a 16 year old young Austrian lady who has some experience on a farm but would like to learn more. She is happy to help wherever needed. She enjoys carpentry and would eventually like to do an apprenticeship as a carpenter. She is also interested in agri-tourism and cooking, so she has a wide range of interests. Her placement dates are 21st June to 30th August. Neither of these applicants are expecting any payment just meals with the family and a comfortable bed. There will be a small invoice from Equipeople, but nothing much. Please share far and wide so that we can get these two students placed as soon as possible. For more details please give Linda or Mandy a call at 057 8643195 or email [email protected]
