The 'Bounty', at Galway Docks a few years ago now

This ship is 1/3 larger than the original 'Bounty' and is supposed to be a good representation of a 'square rigger'.
The main working sails are square in shape and square to the ship, hence the name square rigged.

Galway Ho**er, Ship in Bottle, Hand crafted by Ronan Byrne, Kinvara, Co. Galway.

I managed to buy this beautiful item to add to my collection recently. The item is quite heavy and large, roughly 12 inches (30 cm) in length and has a sticker on the bottom of the wooden stand which says it was hand crafted by Ronan Byrne in Kinvara, Galway. We wondered does any of our followers have any idea if this was made recently? It is a stunning piece of work, one which will not be going anywhere from my collection.
