BOSCO (Bangalore Oniyavara Seva Coota), the Association of those who serve youngsters on the streets of Bangalore, initiated in the year 1980 in a small way has now spread its wings widely in the City of Bangalore rendering its service to more than seven Foster care programme of BOSCO will reflect the values of the United Nations Conventions on the rights of the Child [UNCRC] which states that “al

l children have the right to grow up in a family environment” and also will go a long way in creating awareness among the people, communities and changing the mindset thereby making institutionalized care as the last resort for children who do have no biological parents or not under any custodial care. If not as Foster Parents, volunteers are welcome in identifying foster parents,spread the need for foster care, sponsor a child in foster placement or just help us by sharing ideas in promoting foster care.
