Strengthening fiscal risk management at the sub-national state level in India. 29 officials from Finance Departments of 8 Indian states participated in SARTTAC’s first Fiscal Risk Management workshop dedicated to Indian states, hosted in Goa. Welcoming the Central Bank of Sri Lanka team for a peer-learning visit to SARTTAC. The SARTTAC team was very happy to welcome the Training and Development team from the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) for a visit to gain exposure to SARTTAC’s operations, with the objective of enhancing the facilities at the Training Centre of the CBSL. Strengthening collection and arrears management: Revenue administration officials from SARTTAC member countries participated in SARTTAC training course on Collections and Arrears Management. Strengthening International Tax Administration in South Asia. SARTTAC delivered a regional workshop focusing on strengthening international tax administration, bringing together senior officials from South Asia. Key international tax compliance risks, emerging global developments, and good administrative practices were discussed. The program combined strategic discussions with hands on application of the IMF’s Framework for International Tax Administration Strengthening (FITAS), supporting tax administrations in diagnosing capacity gaps, prioritizing reforms, and strengthening their institutional approach to international taxation.
