Empowering PM Vishwakarma Artisans through Marketing & Branding!

Glimpses of one-day Awareness Programmes on Marketing & Branding organised under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme.

📍 West Delhi: 100+ beneficiaries participated and received practical guidance on Marketing, Branding, Digital Platforms, Exports, and Financial & Digital Services. Beneficiaries were also facilitated with initial registration and onboarding on digital marketing platforms, as well as initial registration for exports through the Dak Niryat Kendra of India Post.

📍 Seoni, Madhya Pradesh: 200+ beneficiaries participated and received practical guidance on Marketing, Branding, Digital Platforms & Exports. Key on-ground support included loan sanction on the spot, bank accounts and QR codes generated on the spot and resolution of Loan facilitation-related issues.

The programmes focused on empowering Vishwakarma artisans through Digitalisation, Financial Inclusion, AI Training, Export Opportunities and Better Market Access.

The MSME Development (Amendment) Act, 2026 aims to create a more enabling ecosystem for MSMEs through updated classification, easier compliance, faster dispute resolution, strengthened recovery mechanisms and improved access to platforms like TReDS.

The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Reserve Bank of India, to facilitate technology-driven, data-enabled and inclusive access to credit for MSMEs through the Unified Lending Interface (ULI).

➡️The collaboration will enable API-based data exchange and integration between the Ministry of MSME and ULI, helping streamline access to relevant digital information and facilitate faster, simpler and more efficient credit delivery to MSMEs. The initiative will strengthen the digital lending ecosystem and support data-driven policymaking for the MSME sector.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Rajneesh, Additional Secretary & Development Commissioner, Ministry of MSME and Shri Sahil Kini, Chief Executive Officer, Reserve Bank Innovation Hub, in the presence of senior officers from the Ministry of MSME, RBI and RBIH.

🏆 A Proud Moment for PM Vishwakarma!

Four PM Vishwakarma artisans from Madhya Pradesh were selected and honoured with the “Hunarbaaz Appreciation Award” by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Dr Mohan Yadav, at an Orientation Ceremony held in Bhopal.

The award recognises artisans who have made significant contributions to the development and promotion of traditional art and crafts, with special recognition across Women, Divyang, Yuva and Unique Craft categories.

➡️Smt. Pooja Jharia – Marble Artisan
GI-tagged products marketed through Amazon & Flipkart; also represented her craft at the BRICS MSME event in Agra.

➡️Shri Atul Gupta – Divyang Artisan
Runs an OSOP stall at Indore Railway Station, demonstrating the impact of market access support.

➡️Shri Jitendra Vishwakarma – Bell Metal Artisan
A GI-tagged artisan whose products were procured by the Government for official gifting, and showcased at Delhi Haat and under OAOP at Bhopal Airport.

➡️Shri Sanjay Ahirwar – Woodcraft Artisan
Recognised for his unique craftsmanship and specially invited to present his artwork to the Hon’ble Chief Minister.
