'नशामुक्त युवा, विकसित भारत – संकल्प अभियान' या उपक्रमानिमित्त पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी आज देशभरातील लाखो युवक-युवतींना व्हिडिओ कॉन्फरन्सद्वारे संबोधित केले. महाराष्ट्राचे राज्यपाल जिष्णु देव वर्मा हे या कार्यक्रमाला लोकभवन मुंबई येथून ऑनलाइन उपस्थित होते.

युवा कार्यक्रम आणि क्रीडा मंत्रालयाच्या वतीने हे देशव्यापी अभियान विविध आध्यात्मिक संस्था, महाविद्यालये, माय भारत युवा क्लब, माय भारत स्वयंसेवक, औद्योगिक संस्था तसेच इतर सामाजिक संस्था यांच्या सहकार्याने राबविले जात आहे.

युवकांमध्ये व्यसनमुक्त जीवनशैलीचा संदेश रुजविणे हा या अभियानाचा प्रमुख उद्देश आहे. पुढील दोन वर्षे दर रविवारी हा कार्यक्रम आयोजित करण्यात येणार असून, व्यसनमुक्त आणि निरोगी भारताचा संदेश देशभर पोहोचविण्यात येणार आहे.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed millions of youth across the country via video conference on the occasion of the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat – Sankalp Abhiyan. Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma attended the programme in online mode.

The nationwide campaign is being implemented by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in collaboration with spiritual organisations, colleges, MY Bharat Youth Clubs, MY Bharat Volunteers, industrial organisations, and other social organisations. It aims to promote an addiction-free lifestyle among the youth. The programme is going to be conducted every Sunday over the next two years, reinforcing the message of a drug-free and healthy India.

Tree Plantation Drive at Lok Bhavan Nagpur

Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma joined by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari planted saplings at Lok Bhavan in Nagpur.

The tree plantation in Lok Bhavan Nagpur is part of a the "Green Nagpur" campaign launched by Government of India in collaboration with the Nagpur district administration, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC), educational institutions, and voluntary organizations.

Minister of State for School Education Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar, Mayor of Nagpur Nita Thackeray, Secretary to the Governor Dr. Prashant Naranware and senior government officers were present.

लोकभवन, नागपूर येथे वृक्षारोपण अभियान

महाराष्ट्राचे राज्यपाल तथा राज्य विद्यापीठांचे कुलपती जिष्णु देव वर्मा यांनी केंद्रीय रस्ते वाहतूक व महामार्ग मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांच्या समवेत नागपूर येथील लोकभवन परिसरात वृक्षारोपण केले.

लोकभवन, नागपूर येथील हे वृक्षारोपण भारत सरकारच्या पुढाकाराने नागपूर जिल्हा प्रशासन, नागपूर महानगरपालिका (एनएमसी), शैक्षणिक संस्था आणि विविध स्वयंसेवी संघटनांच्या सहकार्याने राबविण्यात येत असलेल्या "हरित नागपूर" अभियानाचा एक भाग आहे.

यावेळी शालेय शिक्षण राज्यमंत्री डॉ. पंकज भोयर, महापौर नीता ठाकरे, राज्यपालांचे सचिव डॉ. प्रशांत नारनवरे तसेच वरिष्ठ शासकीय अधिकारी उपस्थित होते.

राष्ट्रसंत तुकडोजी महाराज नागपूर विद्यापीठ परिसरात आज राज्यपाल तथा राज्यातील सार्वजनिक विद्यापीठांचे कुलपती जिष्णु देव वर्मा यांच्या हस्ते वृक्षारोपण करण्यात आले.

विद्यापीठाच्या जमनालाल बजाज प्रशासकीय भवनाशेजारी खुल्या परिसरात झालेल्या या वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रमात केंद्रीय सडक परिवहन व महामार्ग मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांनी देखील वृक्षारोपण केले.

वातावरण बदलाच्या आव्हानांना तोंड देण्यासाठी केंद्र शासनाच्या वतीने नागपूर जिल्ह्यात २५ लाख वृक्ष लागवडीचा संकल्प घेण्यात आलेला आहे.

यावेळी शालेय शिक्षण राज्यमंत्री डॉ. पंकज भोयर, महापौर नीता ठाकरे, आमदार मोहन मते, आमदार प्रवीण दटके, उपमहापौर लीलाताई हाथीबेड, कुलगुरु डॉ. मनाली क्षीरसागर, प्र-कुलगुरू डॉ. अखिलेश पेशवे, राज्यपालांचे सचिव डॉ. प्रशांत नारनवरे, महापालिकेच्या स्थायी समिती सभापती शिवानी दाणी, आदी उपस्थित होते.

Maharashtra Governor and Chancellor of state universities Jishnu Dev Varma today launched a tree plantation drive by planting a sapling at the Jamnalal Bajaj Administrative building complex of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and other dignitaries also planted saplings.

The Government of India has taken a decision to plant 25 lakh trees in Nagpur district with the objective of tackling the challenges posed by climate change.

भिवंडी येथे इमारत कोसळून झालेल्या दुर्घटनेत काही निष्पाप नागरिकांचा मृत्यू झाल्याचे वृत्त समजून अतिशय दुःख झाले. या दुर्घटनेतील मृतांच्या कुटुंबीयांना आपल्या शोक संवेदना कळवतो तसेच जखमींना लवकर बरे वाटो अशी प्रार्थना करतो.

दिनांक १७ जानेवारी २०२७ रोजी होणाऱ्या टाटा मुंबई मॅरेथॉन स्पर्धेसाठी नावनोंदणी प्रक्रियेचा शुभारंभ राज्यपाल जिष्णु देव वर्मा यांच्या प्रमुख उपस्थितीत आज मुंबई येथे करण्यात आला.

मुंबई मॅरेथॉन जगातील सर्वात अधिक स्पर्धक असणारी समावेशक मॅरेथॉन झाल्याबद्दल राज्यपालांनी आयोजकांचे अभिनंदन केले तसेच मॅरेथॉनच्या माध्यमातून सामाजिक उपक्रमांना चालना दिल्याबद्दल समाधान व्यक्त केले.

कार्यक्रमाला भारतीय नौदलाच्या पश्चिम विभागाचे मुख्य ध्वज अधिकारी व्हाईस ऍडमिरल संजय वात्सायन, महाराष्ट्र, गुजरात व गोवा विभागाच्या सैन्य दलाचे जनरल ऑफिसर कमांडिंग ले. जन. डी एस कुशवाह, मॅरेथॉन आयोजक संस्था प्रोकॅमचे व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक अनिल सिंह, सहसंचालक विवेक सिंह तसेच मॅरेथॉन प्रायोजक संस्थांचे प्रतिनिधी उपस्थित होते.

The registration process for the Tata Mumbai Marathon, scheduled to be held on 17 January 2027, was formally launched by State Governor Jishnu Dev Varma in Mumbai.

Congratulating the organisers, the Governor noted that the Mumbai Marathon has become the world's largest inclusive marathon in terms of participant numbers. He also expressed satisfaction that the marathon has been instrumental in promoting various social initiatives.

Vice Admiral Sanjay Vatsayan, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Naval Command; Lt Gen D. S. Kushwah, GOC, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa Area; MD of Procam International Anil Singh; Joint Director Vivek Singh; and representatives of the marathon's sponsoring organisations were present.
