PPCC Strengthens Vendor Capacity Through e-GP Training

The Public Procurement and Concessions Commission (PPCC) continues to strengthen the capacity of vendors to effectively participate in Liberia’s digital public procurement process through hands-on training on the Liberia Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) System.

The training provides vendors with practical knowledge and guidance on navigating the e-GP platform, accessing procurement opportunities, managing their vendor profiles, and participating in electronic procurement processes.

To ensure continued support and accessibility, vendor e-GP training sessions are held every Monday at 1:00 PM and Thursday at 10:00 AM. The sessions provide vendors with access to computers, internet connectivity, and instructors who guide participants through the system and respond to questions and challenges they may encounter.

The initiative forms part of PPCC’s broader efforts to promote transparency, efficiency, accountability, and wider participation in Liberia’s public procurement system. By equipping vendors with the necessary skills, PPCC is helping businesses transition to electronic procurement and take advantage of opportunities available through the e-GP platform.

PPCC Provides ICT Support to GAC for e-GP Transition

The Public Procurement and Concessions Commission (PPCC) has provided ICT equipment to the General Auditing Commission (GAC) to strengthen its capacity to participate in Liberia’s Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) System.

The equipment was received by Auditor General P. Garswa Jackson, who expressed appreciation to the PPCC for the timely support.

Jackson said the intervention comes at an important time as government operations increasingly shift toward digital platforms. He noted that equipping public institutions with the necessary technology is essential to improving efficiency, transparency, accountability, and compliance in public procurement.

The PPCC said the distribution is part of its broader effort to equip Ministries, Agencies and Commissions with the tools needed to effectively transition from traditional procurement processes to the e-GP System.

The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to modernize Liberia’s public procurement system through digital transformation.

PPCC Boosts GAC’s Digital Procurement Capacity with ICT Support

The Public Procurement and Concessions Commission (PPCC) has provided Information and Communication Technology (ICT) equipment to the General Auditing Commission (GAC) as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen public institutions’ capacity to effectively participate in Liberia’s Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) System.

The equipment was received on behalf of the GAC by Auditor General P. Garswa Jackson.

The provision of the ICT equipment is intended to enhance the GAC’s technological capacity and support its procurement-related activities through the e-GP platform. The initiative headed by his Excellency is also aimed at facilitating a smoother transition from traditional procurement processes to a more efficient and digitally enabled system.

The distribution forms part of the PPCC’s broader efforts to equip Ministries, Agencies and Commissions with the necessary technological resources to effectively utilize the e-GP System.

PPCC Donates Laptops to LBS to Strengthen Procurement Operations

The Public Procurement and Concessions Commission (PPCC), through its Executive Director, Hon. Bodger Scott Johnson, has donated three laptop computers to the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS) to strengthen the institution’s procurement unit and support the effective implementation of public procurement activities.

The donation comes as Liberia transitions from manual public procurement transactions to the Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) System, a move aimed at modernizing and improving the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of public procurement processes.
Speaking during the presentation ceremony at the PPCC headquarters on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, Executive Director Johnson said the ICT equipment would help enhance LBS’s capacity to carry out its procurement responsibilities while also supporting public education and awareness.

Hon. Johnson said LBS, as the national broadcaster, has an important role to play in informing procurement stakeholders and the general public about the e-GP System, public procurement procedures, and the role of the PPCC in promoting transparency and accountability within Liberia’s public procurement sector.

Receiving the equipment on behalf of LBS, Director General Eugene Fahngon expressed appreciation to the PPCC for the donation and pledged the institution’s commitment to working closely with the Commission.

DG Fahngon said LBS would support the PPCC through public awareness and education initiatives designed to promote compliance with Liberia’s public procurement laws and increase understanding of the newly introduced e-GP System.

He emphasized that greater public awareness and access to relevant information on public procurement transactions, as well as compliance with existing procurement legislation, would contribute to the success of Liberia’s ongoing public procurement reform.
The collaboration between the PPCC and LBS is expected to strengthen public understanding of procurement processes and promote greater transparency and accountability as Liberia advances the implementation of electronic government procurement.

PPCC Executive Director Addresses Naymote Governance and Anti-Corruption Fellowship Graduation

The Executive Director of the Public Procurement and Concessions Commission (PPCC), Hon. Bodger Scott Johnson, has delivered a special remark at the graduation ceremony of the Naymote Governance and Anti-Corruption Fellowship Program, Cohort One September 15, 2026.

In his special remarks, Hon. Johnson applauded the graduating fellows for successfully completing the program and encouraged them to apply the knowledge, skills, and values gained throughout the fellowship in their respective communities and professional engagements.

He urged the graduates to remain committed to promoting good governance, accountability, transparency, and responsible citizenship, emphasizing the important role young professionals can play in contributing to Liberia’s development.

Hon. Johnson also encouraged the fellows to visit the Public Procurement and Concessions Commission (PPCC) to further broaden their understanding and knowledge of public procurement and the Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) System. He highlighted the importance of e-GP and the value it adds to public procurement through increased transparency, accountability, efficiency, and value for money.

He noted that gaining a deeper understanding of the e-GP System would enable the fellows to better appreciate its role in strengthening public procurement processes and promoting greater accountability within Liberia’s public sector.
