The LDEA’s statement confirms more than a drug seizure it exposes a full scale transnational criminal operation embedded within Liberia’s security and aviation systems. The scale, coordination, and airport pe*******on clearly mirror narco transit models seen in Guinea Bissau, signaling that Liberia is no longer a peripheral player but an active corridor in the global co***ne trade.
Equally troubling is the apparent understatement of the seizure’s value. Credible estimates place the consignment well above US$50 million, raising serious concerns about transparency, political shielding, and narrative control under the Boakai Koung regime.This is not a discrepancy it is a red flag.
From a counter terrorism and homeland security standpoint, this constitutes a transnational organized crime breach with potential state linked complicity or systemic failure at the highest levels. The regime’s posture risks projecting either incapacity or willful concealment both dangerous in the face of expanding criminal networks.
Liberia is now at a tipping point decisively dismantle these networks, or become firmly entrenched as West Africa’s next narco state. JTK.

I know I was embarrassed for $40 worth of w**d .. Now they got $19m worth of coke but no one to be found .. My business went down and I took a huge lost. To me the raid was for the LDEA to steal my money and other things .. I was forced to take pictures with large amount of drugs at the district but I refused.. I don’t believe anything LDEA post or say . Thank you 🙏🏾

Update:

There have been mounting concerns from the public about why there hasn't been an arrest of any person of interest or suspect in the 19 million US dollar plus drug bust at the airport.

Some recalled that Liberian rapper Bucky Raw was handcuffed and paraded in the back of a pickup for being a suspect in a drug case worth quite less, just as other Liberians have been treated.

I messaged Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency Acting Head Fitzgerald Biago, asking why haven't any persons of interest or suspects been arrested yet.

This was his response:

"This is an ongoing active investigation, disclosure of any information will compromise the investigation, we are asking the public to remain calm, we are putting pieces of information and evidence together and will soon revert to you all accordingly."
