F’ċerti punti se jkun hemm gwardjani biex jidderieġu t-traffiku, filwaqt li f’postijiet oħra t-toroq se jkunu magħluqa permezz ta’ barriers.

Inħeġġu lil kulħadd biex isegwi d-direzzjonijiet u jikkopera, ħalli ngawdu l-Festa b’mod sigur u nevitaw li jseħħu inċidenti.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE

We would like to remind everyone that the closure of Pjazza Vittorja in connection with the Feast activities has come into effect today.

At certain points, traffic wardens will be present to direct traffic, while other roads will be closed using barriers.

We encourage everyone to follow the directions given and cooperate so that we may all enjoy the Feast safely and prevent accidents.

🎉 Let us celebrate together in unity and with respect for one another.

ROUTE 260 NAXXAR DIVERSION

Date: Wednesday 9th September 2026.

Time: All day.

Road Closure: TRIQ SAN PAWL.

Diversion to Gharghur: Route buses coming from NAXXAR going towards GHARGHUR have to divert near WELBEE’S roundabout by going to the BY-PASS TRIQ A.MURRAY and will proceed towards T’ALLA U OMMU roundabout and will turn around to continue as the normal route to GHARGHUR.

📢 Avviż – Miżuri ta’ Kontroll

Fil-ġranet li ġejjin, is-Sanità ser tqiegħed velenu kontra l-ġrieden fid-drenaġġ u f’żoni fil-beraħ. Is-Sanità nediet ukoll programm għall-kontroll tal-ħamiem, li ser jidħol fis-seħħ fil-jiem li ġejjin.

Barra minn hekk, ir-Regjun Tramuntana ingaġġa professjonisti biex jittrattaw il-bejtiet tal-hornets fil-lokalità.

Inħeġġu lill-pubbliku biex ma jħallix skart, ħmieġ jew fdalijiet tal-ikel barra, peress li dawn jattiraw il-ġrieden, il-ħamiem u insetti oħra.

📢 Notice – Control Measures

In the coming days, the Environmental Health Directorate will place rodent poison in sewers and outdoor areas. The Directorate has also launched a pigeon-control programme, which will come into effect in the coming days.

Additionally, the Northern Region has engaged professionals to treat hornet nests within the locality.

We encourage the public not to leave waste, dirt or food remains outdoors, as these attract rodents, pigeons and other pests.
