Six opposition parties are meeting in Abuja today to explore a common front ahead of the 2027 elections.
The ADC, APM, NDC, PDP, PRP and SDP are gathering at the Yar’Adua Centre under a proposed framework for cooperation.
The meeting comes as President Tinubu began a three-week working vacation in London after leaving Nigeria on August 30.
For the opposition, getting six parties around one table is the easy part. The real test will be whether they can stay united when questions of candidates, leadership and power-sharing arise.
