Despite the very cold and wet weather yesterday, our tamariki have still been working hard. Check out this week's award winners!

Wow! Our William Pike Challenge students had a wonderful day out exploring part of the Catlins this week. We walked from the Hinahina Bridge around to Pounawea and back; walked into Purakaunui Falls: took the Jacks Bay walking track to the blowhole and ... watched a yellow-eyed penguin coming in to shore. We walked a total of 13.5 kilometres. Challenge met!! Special thanks to Helen at Jacks Bay for her company and knowledge of the local area.

Get ready to run! Primary school cross country sessions begin tomorrow Wednesday 22 July, 4:30pm-5:15pm at the South Otago Motorcycle Track, Glasgow Street Balclutha.

All tamariki are welcome, come along, have some fun, and build your cross country skills! and confidence. On every Wednesday through to early September.

Today the BPS Cultural Group performed at Puaka Matariki Iwikatea. They represented our school well, showing our school values. Ka pai tamariki!
