If you're planning a trip to Mt Cooee this morning (Saturday), please bring cash along.

The landfill is experiencing an internet outage this morning which has affected the EFTPOS system.

Operators are working to resolve these issues with the internet provider now. Manual EFTPOS procedures in place, but this may take our operators longer to process. Therefore, cash is preferred until these issues are resolved.

Thank you for your understanding and we apologise for the inconvenience.

We have placed a water tank trailer on the corner of Shakespeare Street and Spenser Street in Milton, behind Supervalue.

The smaller tank has been filled, so that residents can continue to bring their own, clean containers to fill with fresh water.

This trailer tank will replace the large water tank that has been in the same location since late 2025. The larger, empty tank will be removed soon.

Thank you to those that raised with us that they are still using the tank.
