Introducing Riccarton High School's New Principal.

After a thorough appointment process, the Board of Trustees is delighted to announce that Ms Haidee Tiffen has been appointed as the new Principal of Riccarton High School.

Haidee brings a deep commitment to people-centred leadership and a philosophy grounded in three words: Listen, Lead, Serve. For her, this begins with genuinely understanding the perspectives, needs and aspirations of students, staff and whānau – and from that foundation, creating the conditions for others to thrive through high expectations, genuine care and a collaborative culture where everyone feels heard and included.

Haidee comes to us from Rangiora High School, where she has served as Deputy Principal. Beyond the classroom, she is a distinguished sportswoman – a former head coach and captain of the White Ferns, the New Zealand women’s cricket team, and the recipient of the honour of Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM) for her service to cricket.

Ms Tiffen will be introduced to the school community at the start of Term 4.

Here’s what they had to say.

We hope you all have a safe and enjoyable holiday break. See you all back fresh and ready for term 3!
