The area also has a rich heritage past with remnants of goldfields that will take you on a journey of the past. Cromwell's central location makes it an excellent base for exploring the wider Central Otago area, allowing for easy day trips to nearby towns such as Queenstown, Arrowtown, Wanaka and Clyde.

This Light Up Winter, YOU are part of the spectacle. So dust off the fairy lights, grab the glow sticks and light yourself up!

✨ Glowing glasses
🌈 LED accessories
🧣 Illuminated scarves
🎉 Anything that sparkles, shines or glows!

Whether you’re five or ninety-five, we want to see the crowd glowing just as brightly as the lanterns.

Just remember to glow safely! Choose battery-powered or LED lights, make sure they’re securely attached, and leave candles or open flames at home.

Let’s fill the Anderson Park Rose Garden this Saturday 1st August, with thousands of twinkling lights and create a night to remember in Cromwell.
