Matakohe School Matakohe School is a rural school which opened in 1878. It is set in the Kaipara District, overlooking the harbour and surrounding farmland.

Thank you Haydyn... Today was the NW X Country and unfortunately it clashed with our Careers & Aspirations trip. Haydyn decided to represent our school and came 4th our of 26 for the 9 yr old boys. Well done Haydyn.
