Kelly Club East Taieri Kelly Club is a kids' home away from home! Programmes are focused around sports, cooking, discovery

Our programmes are focused around sports, cooking, arts, craft and discovery time activities as well as relaxation and homework time after a busy day at school. Kelly Club Programmes are Ministry of Social Development approved. This accreditation also means that Work and Income OSCAR subsidies are available to parents who qualify.

Check out everything we got up to on Thursday for our Matariki celebration! 🌟

Our tamariki had an awesome day making beautiful lanterns, weaving Matariki stars, completing a fun scavenger hunt, and enjoying plenty of other exciting activities! 💙🌌

We may have had a one day delay to the start of our Holiday Programme, but that just meant double the fun today! 🎉

We had an awesome first day packed with lots of activities. We made exploding elephant toothpaste, created colourful bubble paintings that turned into animals, monsters, and all sorts of imaginative creations, played find the lolly, made delicious homemade sherbet, and so much more! 💥🧪✨

It was so great to welcome back lots of familiar faces, as well as meet some new tamariki!

We hope everyone had as much fun as we did, and we can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow! 🤩

Hi everyone,

I hope you are keeping safe and warm during this weather. Please be advised that Kelly Club East Taieri will be closed tomorrow due to the severe weather and subsequent flooding at East Taieri School. The safety of the children and our staff is our top priority, and the current conditions mean it is not safe to operate.

What this means for you:

Closure Date: Tomorrow [Monday - 6th July 2026]

Fees & Payments: You do not need to do anything. All bookings for tomorrow will be cancelled, and full credits will be applied to your accounts.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely, alongside the school and will provide updates regarding our reopening as soon as possible. At this stage, we plan to reopen on Tuesday the 7th of July.

Thank you for your understanding, and please stay safe and dry.
