🛴🚲 **Wheels Day Fun!** 🛹🛼

Check out the fun our students had at **Wheels Day**! They navigated a fabulous course complete with a **roundabout, stop signs and speed limits**, all while practising their wheeling skills. 🛑🚦

There were plenty of smiles, lots of wheeling, and some great learning along the way!

A huge **thank you to Tegan and Mr McAuley** for running such a fantastic lunchtime **Explore Programme**. What a great way to get active, have fun and learn some important road safety skills! 🌟

🌱 Seed Hunt! 🌱

Our juniors were busy looking for seeds today! A fantastic hands-on lesson in propagation, getting outside, exploring nature and learning how new plants begin. 🌿🌱 Thanks to Kate for coming to help us.

"Kia ora whanau and students, We are fast approaching the latest edition of Junior TOSI 2026. This year's event is being held in Murchison on Thursday and Friday October the 29th and 30th.
Our team will consist of 10 girls and 10 boys from Year 8,9 and 10. We should be pretty strong this year with some great sportspeople and also following on from our success in Senior TOSI earlier in the year.
This trip/tournament involves one night away from home, where all the students will be bilitted with either local families or our own school staff who live in that area. We have room for 6 girls to stay at Mr and Mrs Tlilse's farm for that night.
No students will be on their own in billits and the staff going are Mr Ashworth, Tegan and Mr Haunch. I attach the programme to this email as parents are more than welcome to come down and support at any time.
The commitment from the students follows on from the work this term and for weeks 1 and 2 of Term 4, there will be a practice on each lunchtime Monday to Thursday (8 more practices) to ensure we cover all the sports.
We intend to name the team on Monday lunchtime of week 2, to allow time to sort out various actual sports teams and accomodation.
I am looking forward to this great experience, it will be fun, rewarding and enjoyable for all

🌊🛶 Sea Kayaking Adventure! 🛶🌊

What an adventure yesterday! Our students had an awesome day out on the water, kayaking all the way to Split Apple Rock. What an incredible experience and some pretty spectacular scenery along the way! ☀️🌊

A huge thank you to Friends of the School for funding this fantastic trip and making it possible for our students. 💙

And a big thank you to Mr McAuley for organising and leading such a great day. We really appreciate you! 👏
