🎨 Thank you, whānau! 🌭

A huge thank you to everyone who came along this afternoon to check out the art exhibition, grab a sausage and have a chat with us about Parklands School’s next Strategic Plan.

A survey will be coming out soonish, giving everyone the chance to share their thoughts and ideas in a little more detail.

And seriously, wasn’t the tamariki artwork amazing? 😍 It will remain on display for the rest of the week, so if you couldn’t make it today, feel free to poke your nose into Aniwaniwa and have a look.

🎨 Art, Sausages and a Strategic Plan Yarn! 🌭

Come along tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday), wander through Aniwaniwa and check out some of the fantastic artwork our tamariki have created.

While you’re here, have a chat with us and share your thoughts about what makes Parklands special and what could make our school even better.

🌭 Sausages will be available from 3.15pm.

Please note that students will only be able to grab a sausage when their parent or whānau member is present. This isn’t an after-school grab-and-go sausage situation! 😂

What a beautiful way to sign off Te Wiki o te Reo Māori, sharing te reo, waiata and a few laughs together as one kura whānau 💚💙🤍

💚💙🤍Today we celebrated some awesome Kaha Kids receiving their tohu from Whaea Smiddey for showing our uara, Kotahitanga, Ako, Haepapa and Aroha. They make us proud every day! 🥹
A special pakipaki 👏 to Dasha, who came 2nd in our local speech competition this week, ka mau te wehi! 🎤🌟
And what better way to celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori than together in the sunshine! ☀️🌿 Even Tāwhirimātea was on his best behaviour for us today! 😂
