🧸 Could you spare a little time to help our Toy Library? 💛

Our CHB / Waipukurau Toy Library is looking for friendly volunteers to join our team and help keep this wonderful community resource running!

Toy Libraries provide tamariki and whānau with the opportunity to borrow a wide range of toys, puzzles, games and resources without having to buy everything themselves. It’s a fantastic way to support learning through play, encourage sustainability, and make fun, affordable play experiences accessible to our local families. 🌿🧩

How can you help?
✨ Help out during our Thursday opening hours (10am–12pm, during school terms).
🧸 Welcome families and help them choose toys.
📦 Assist with checking toys in and out, and keeping everything organised.
💛 Share your time, ideas and enthusiasm to support our local community.

You don’t need any special experience — just a friendly face and a willingness to help! Even a small amount of time can make a big difference. Our volunteers are an important part of keeping the Toy Library thriving for local tamariki and their whānau.

As a thank you, volunteers can enjoy membership for just $30 per year!

If you’ve been looking for a way to give back to our community, meet local families and support little learners, we’d love to hear from you.

📩 Interested in volunteering? Send us a message or pop in and have a chat with us!

Let’s work together to keep the fun, learning and magic of play accessible for everyone. 💛
