Due to weather conditions, the Haruru Falls Walking Track will be closed from 8:00am on Monday, 1 June, until further notice. The track will remain closed pending a safety assessment once weather conditions improve.

While the track is closed, the Waitangi Treaty Grounds remain open and warmly welcome visitors. It's the perfect rainy-day activity, with plenty to explore indoors.

We’d like to let our community know that this is the final week of Whare Waka Café before we officially close Tuesday 12 May.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has visited, supported us, shared moments and enjoyed delicious kai & kawhe with us over the years. It’s been a privilege to be part of your stories and gatherings. We sincerely thank you for your support.
