The Municipality of Bubong, Lanao del Sur is honored to receive a Plaque of Recognition from the Amai Pakpak Medical Center – Blood Bank for being one of the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟭𝟬 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 with the highest number of blood donors during the Mobile Blood Donation (MBD) Program, proudly securing 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟲.

This recognition reflects the unwavering commitment of our local government, health workers, volunteers, and generous blood donors who continue to help save lives through voluntary blood donation.

FIRST MONDAY FLAG RAISING CEREMONY 🇵🇭

The Bubong Rural Health Unit commenced the first Monday of the month with a Flag Raising Ceremony, led by our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Anesah M. Tominoray, together with the dedicated RHU personnel.

Following the ceremony, program coordinators presented updates on the current status, accomplishments, and priority activities of their respective health programs. The meeting also served as a venue to strengthen coordination, monitor progress, address challenges, and align strategies to ensure the effective delivery of quality healthcare services to the people of Bubong.

The Bubong RHU remains steadfast in its commitment to providing accessible, equitable, and quality health services in support of the Universal Health Care (UHC) Program and the health and well-being of every Bubongan.

Alhamdulillah! The Bubong Rural Health Unit successfully conducted the Orientation on the New Monthly Reporting Template for our Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), followed by the distribution of BHW Kits to support them in delivering quality primary healthcare services within their respective communities.

The orientation provided updates on the new reporting format to ensure accurate, timely, and standardized submission of monthly reports, strengthening our health information system and improving program monitoring.

The distribution of BHW Kits is a significant initiative that equips our dedicated Barangay Health Workers with the essential tools and materials needed in their daily community health services, enabling them to better serve every household and strengthen the implementation of primary healthcare programs.

📢 LOOK | Bubong RHU Joins Integrated Health and Wellness Caravan 2026

The Bubong Rural Health Unit (RHU) proudly participated in the Integrated Health and Wellness Caravan held in celebration of the 67th Araw ng Lanao: Pakaradiyaan O Sarimanok 2026, conducted from July 13–19, 2026 at the New Capitol Complex, Marawi City.

Representing the Municipality of Bubong were Municipal Health Officer Dr. Anesah M. Tominoray, Doctors-to-the-Barrios (DTTB) Dr. Haniya S. Angintaopan, and selected RHU personnel who joined the medical mission and health service activities aimed at bringing quality healthcare closer to the people of Lanao del Sur.

This noble undertaking was spearheaded by the Integrated Provincial Health Office Ipho Lanao del Sur (IPHO) of Lanao del Sur under the leadership of Provincial Health Officer II, Dr. Alinader D. Minalang, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Lanao Del Sur and other stakeholders. The caravan provided various essential health services, including medical consultations, dental services, operation tuli, FPE, health education, and other community-based interventions.

The participation of Bubong RHU reflects its continued commitment to the goals of Universal Health Care (UHC) by ensuring accessible, equitable, and quality health services for all.

RE-ECHO TRAINING OF BANGSAMORO NUTRITION WORKERS (BNWs)

Alhamdulillah! The Re-Echo Training conducted by the trained Bangsamoro Nutrition Workers (BNWs) of Bubong Rural Health Unit was successfully held following their participation in the BHW & BNW Training conducted on June 1–6, 2026 at Apo View Hotel, Davao City.

The activity aimed to cascade the knowledge, skills, and best practices learned during the training to fellow health workers, ensuring that valuable information on community-based health and nutrition programs, primary health care services, and PuroKalusugan implementation reaches every barangay in the Municipality of Bubong.

Through this re-echo session, participants were updated on essential health and nutrition interventions, strengthening their capacity to deliver quality services and promote healthier communities at the grassroots level.

The Bubong RHU extends its sincere appreciation to our dedicated BNWs, BHWs, and RHU personnel for their commitment to continuous learning and public service. Their dedication plays a vital role in advancing Universal Health Care and improving the health and well-being of every Bubongan.

📢 FOCAL SURVEY ROUND 2 CONDUCTED IN BUBONG, LANAO DEL SUR

Alhamdulillah! The F***l Survey Round 2 was successfully conducted today in the Municipality of Bubong through the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Health (MOH-BARMM), Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) of Lanao del Sur, and the Bubong Rural Health Unit (RHU).

A total of 204 individuals were screened during the activity to assess and monitor schistosomiasis and other intestinal parasitic infections, providing vital data for evidence-based public health interventions.

This activity supports the shared vision of the Ministry of Health, IPHO, and RHU Bubong to achieve a Schistosomiasis-Free Municipality of Bubong by 2028, In Shaa Allah. Through sustained surveillance, prevention, treatment, health education, and community participation, we remain committed to protecting the health and well-being of every Bubongan.

The Bubong RHU extends its sincere appreciation to all health workers, BHWs, BNWs, and partner agencies who contributed to the successful implementation of this important undertaking.

Together, we continue to work toward a healthier, safer, and schistosomiasis-free Bubong.
