SDO Calaca City Joins the National Simultaneous School Safety Drill!

On September 2, 2026, the Schools Division Office of Calaca City successfully conducted and participated in the National Simultaneous School Safety Drill, ahead of the national schedule on September 3, which was declared a Special Non-Working Day in Calaca City under Proclamation No. 1408.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participating public and private schools for the successful implementation of the drill. Your commitment and cooperation reflect our shared goal of ensuring the safety and preparedness of every learner and school personnel.

SDO CALACA CITY WELCOMES NEW SCHOOL-BASED NON-TEACHING AND RELATED-TEACHING PERSONNEL

The Schools Division Office of Calaca City proudly welcomes its newly appointed school-based non-teaching and related-teaching personnel as they begin a new chapter of service in the Department of Education.

The Division successfully conducted the New Hire Orientation and Signing of Appointments for the newly appointed Administrative Officer II, Project Development Officer I, and School Counselor Associate I, together with the newly filled Administrative Assistant III and Administrative Aide I positions.

With the guidance and support of the SDO Calaca City Top Managementβ€”Dr. Gregorio T. Mueco, Schools Division Superintendent; Ms. Nadine C. Celindro, OIC-Assistant Schools Division Superintendent; Dr. Anabel R. Marasigan, CID Chief; and Dr. Aprilito C. De Guzman, SGOD Chiefβ€”the Division continues to strengthen its workforce, create meaningful opportunities, and enhance the delivery of administrative and mental health support services in schools.

The program commenced with a meaningful orientation on the appointees’ duties and responsibilities, emphasizing the importance of aligning their personal values and professional commitments with the mission and vision of the Department of Education.

The new appointees were also reminded that being part of the public service goes beyond holding a position. It is a commitment to serve with professionalism, integrity, compassion, and dedication, and an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of learners, teachers, and the wider school community.

Dahil sa hanging Habagat, umabot na sa ilang bahagi ng Luzon at Visayas ang usok mula sa forest fires sa Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Maaaring magdulot ang haze ng hirap sa paghinga, pag-ubo, pananakit ng dibdib, pangangati o pagluluha ng mga mata, at paglala ng mga sakit sa baga tulad ng hika. Dobleng pag-iingat ang kailangan para sa mga bata, matatanda, at mga may dati nang sakit sa baga o puso.

Habang nagpapatuloy ang banta ng haze, mag-suot ng mask kung lalabas ng bahay. Alamin ang lagay ng hangin sa inyong lugar at unahin ang kaligtasan. Maging handa sa banta ng Haze!

Good day, teachers! Join us today, as we strengthen our shared understanding of the Revised Classroom Assessment, Grading, and Reporting System for Key Stage 1 and explore how we can translate the policy into meaningful classroom practice.

This orientation is part of a continuing learning support for our Grade 1 teachers. Other aspects of KS1 Assessment will be made available through succeeding learning resources and orientations.
