Magandang balita mula sa Pamahalaang Bayan ng Capas, sa direktiba ni Mayor "Boots" Rodriguez sa pangangasiwa ng Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO)- Capas, bukas na ang application sa 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗣𝗪𝗗 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘀!

EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE FOR PERSON WITH DISABILITY (PWD) LEARNERS
LGU CAPAS - Through the Office of the Person with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO)

ATTENTION TO ALL PWD LEARNERS / PARENTS / GUARDIANS!

The Local Government Unit of Capas is now accepting applicants for the EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE FOR PWD LEARNERS for School Year 2026-2027.

This program is for all Bonafide PWD Students of Capas enrolled in Elementary, Junior High School, Senior High School, College, and SPED.

DEADLINE OF SUBMISSION OF REQUIREMENTS:

OCTOBER 16, 2026 (Friday) until 5:00 PM
No Extension!

WHERE TO SUBMIT:
PDAO Office, Municipal Covered Court, Municipal Compound l, Sto. Domingo ll, Capas, Tarlac
Look for: PDAO Staff

REQUIREMENTS :

1. Photocopy of Updated PWD ID (front and back) with 3 signatures/thumbmark
2. Barangay Certificate of Indigency (Purpose: Educational Assistance)
3. Certificate of Enrollment or Registration Form (S.Y. 2026-2027) - Original or Certified True Copy
4. School ID - Photocopy
5. Photocopy of Parent/Guardian Valid ID (if claimant is minor)
6. Accomplished PDAO Application Form (Available at PDAO Office)

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

- Must be a resident of Capas, Tarlac
- PWD ID must be issued by LGU Capas and NOT EXPIRED
- Incomplete requirements will NOT be accepted
- First Come, First Serve basis for verification, but all qualified will be included
- Only ONE (1) application per learner

DSWD PRESS RELEASE: DSWD calls for respectful, dignified handling of persons with mental health condition, psychosocial crisis

“Every person who has a mental health condition or is experiencing a psychosocial crisis should be treated with dignity, respect, privacy, and utmost care. Their condition should never be used as a source of public spectacle, entertainment, or content to gain views on social media,” Asst. Secretary Irene Dumlao, the DSWD spokesperson, said on Wednesday (September 23). (AKDL)

KABUHAYAN PARA SA ATING MGA KABABAYANG PWD!

Matagumpay na naipamahagi ng Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Capas sa pangunguna ni Mayor Atty. Roseller "Boots" Rodriguez at ng PDAO ang Livelihood Program para sa ating PWD Associations.

Tatlong barangay ang naging benepisyaryo ng programang ito:

📍 Brgy. Lawy PWD Association
📍 Brgy. Sto. Domingo II PWD Association
📍 Brgy. Talaga PWD Association

Layunin ng programang ito na bigyan ng karagdagang kabuhayan at mapalakas ang kakayahan ng ating mga kapatid na PWD na maging produktibong miyembro ng komunidad.
