🔥 Avoid activities that may trigger fire, especially open burning, which poses serious risks to health and the environment.

Open burning is strictly prohibited under Republic Act No. 8749 (Philippine Clean Air Act), which protects our right to clean air and helps reduce air pollution.
It is also prohibited under Republic Act No. 9003 (Ecological Solid Waste Management Act), as burning solid waste releases toxic fumes that are harmful to human health and the environment.
In addition, Municipal Ordinance No. 18, Series of 2020, Section 61 (Prohibited Acts), Letter G reinforces this prohibition at the local level, ensuring stricter compliance within our municipality.
