DIFFUN, QUIRINO โ In a collaborative effort to foster grassroots economic resilience and environmental sustainability, a three-day community-based training program on electric-powered sewing machine operation for ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ผ-๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ด ๐บ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด was successfully conducted from ๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ญ๐ต ๐๐ผ ๐ฎ๐ญ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ.

Over the course of the three-day event, participants actively joined the intensive hands-on training and successfully produced their own textile eco-bags using modern electric sewing machines provided by the DENR through the CBFM-CARP. Under the direct, technical mentorship of expert trainer ๐ฅ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น๐๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐น๐๐๐ฎ of MBB Patahian (based in Zamora, Cabarroguis, Quirino), the trainees transitioned from understanding basic machine functionalities to achieving full operational proficiency. Caluya also inspired the group by showcasing her own high-quality sewing masterpieces.
To guarantee the long-term viability of the enterprise, representatives from various line agencies pledged comprehensive post-training support. ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ ๐. ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ผ๐, Trade Industry Development Specialist from DTI, outlined key business advisories and enterprise development strategies, affirming that both provincial and regional offices will extend marketing assistance to make the products market-ready. Arios highlighted future opportunities for MDUFAI to exhibit their eco-bags at national and international trade expositions, including the Manila Fair, and noted the availability of low-interest corporate loans for small businesses.

The final day of the seminar focused heavily on project sustainability and institutional support.
