The activity was undertaken to strengthen public awareness and understanding of fire prevention, promote proper fire safety practices, and provide essential information regarding common fire hazards and appropriate preventive measures. The campaign also emphasized the importance of practicing fire safety at home, in the workplace, and within the community to help prevent fire incidents and protect lives and property.

The activity focused on enhancing the personnel’s knowledge and proficiency in the proper handling, recovery, and management of fire hoses, while reinforcing adherence to established firefighting procedures and safety protocols.

The conduct of regular drills and refresher training is essential in maintaining operational preparedness and ensuring effective coordination and teamwork among responders. The activity focused on monitoring the prevailing prices of petroleum products and assessing compliance with prescribed fire safety measures and requirements for the proper storage, handling, and dispensing of fuel and LPG.

Through regular monitoring and field activities, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) continues to strengthen fire safety awareness and promote compliance with existing fire safety laws, regulations, and standards. These efforts are undertaken to help minimize fire hazards, prevent fire-related incidents, and safeguard the lives and properties of the community.

The meeting was conducted to discuss the objectives, procedures, safety protocols, and respective responsibilities of the participating agencies and school personnel during the exercise.

During the coordination meeting, the participating personnel discussed the necessary arrangements, communication procedures, emergency response measures, and coordination mechanisms to ensure the safe and orderly conduct of the drill.
