UNEP ROTC REPORT | The University of Northeastern Philippines (UNEP) students starts their ROTC training session for Basic Drills and Manual of Arms on August 9, 2026 at the UNEP Gymnasium.

From precise movements to coordinated formations, the cadets were guided accordingly by the officers, improving their proise, composure, and teamwork. Each command serves as a reminder that excellence is built through consistency, patience, and dedication.

Training with purpose. Moving in harmony.

The University of Northeastern Philippines (UNEP) ROTC Unit officially commenced its first training day under the leadership of COL Alex B. Botor, GSC, PA (RES), ROTC Commandant.

The activity began with the organizing of Basic ROTC Cadets into platoons, followed by basic drills and formations designed to introduce the fundamentals of military discipline and training.

In the afternoon, the cadets attended the NSTP Orientation facilitated by Mrs. Evelyn O. Ibias, NSTP Coordinator, who discussed the objectives and significance of the National Service Training Program. Mr. John Michael Bustinera SPS/SA Coordinator, and Mrs Josefina Oco CWTS Coordinator also took part in giving inspiratuonal messege to the students. This was followed by the ROTC Orientation conducted by Sgt. Michael T. Layderos (Inf) PA together with the training staff, providing the cadets with an overview of the ROTC program, its policies, and expectations.

With the first training day successfully concluded, a new chapter begins for the Basic ROTC Cadets as they embark on a journey of discipline, leadership, and service.

Greetings to all incoming first year students of University of Northeastern Philippines taking up MS1 for s/y 2025-2026 , we would like to encourage you to join the advance officer training course and be a cadet officer in University of the Northeastern Philippines ROTC unit.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Naturally born Filipino.
- At least a height of 5'2 for male and 5'0 for female.
- Must be physically fit.
- Have a good moral character.
- Willing to undergo training

BENEFITS:
