𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲’𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿: 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝘂𝗷𝗶𝘃 𝗛𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀

​Isang taon na ang nakalipas mula nang ihalal ng mga mamamayan ng Basilan si Governor Mujiv Hataman bilang Gobernador ng Basilan. Sa loob lamang ng isang taon, isang malaking pagbabago ang naramdaman ng lalawigan—isang pagbabago na hindi lamang nakikita sa mga imprastraktura, kundi lalo’t higit sa pakikitungo ng pamahalaan sa ordinaryong mamamayan.

​Mula nang siya ay maupo, naging mas ramdam ng mga Basileño ang gobyerno na mas malapit, mas nakikinig, at mas mabilis umaksyon sa kanilang mga pangangailangan.

​Noong panahon ng kampanya, may isang bitiwang pangako si Gov. Mujiv S. Hataman na tumatak sa isipan ng marami: gagawin niyang isang "People's Capitol" o Kapitolyo ng Mamamayan ang pamahalaang panlalawigan.

​Ngayong isang taon na ang lumipas, napatunayan niyang hindi lamang ito isang mabulaklak na islogan sa eleksyon.

​Bukas na Pintuan: Ang kapitolyo na dati ay tila may pader sa pagitan ng mga opisyal at ng publiko ay naging isang silungan na bukas para sa lahat.

​Direktang Serbisyo: Binuksan ang mga programa kung saan ang tulong—mula sa medikal, edukasyon, hanggang sa pangkabuhayan—ay madaling naa-access ng kahit sinong lumapit.

​Ang tatak ng pamumuno ni Governor Mijiv Hataman sa nakalipas na taon ay ang kanyang personal na pagdalo sa mga suliranin ng kanyang mga nasasakupan. Hindi siya ang uri ng pinuno na nag-aabang lamang ng ulat sa loob ng isang de-aircon na opisina.

​"Ang tunay na pamumuno ay hindi sinusukat sa taas ng posisyon, kundi sa lalim ng iyong ugnayan sa mga taong nagluklok sa iyo."

​Madalas siyang makitang bumababa sa mga komunidad, personal na kinakausap ang mga magsasaka, mangingisda, at mga lokal na lider upang alamin ang kanilang mga hinaing. Sa ganitong paraan, ang mga tulong at proyekto ng pamahalaan ay direktang nakakarating sa mga nangangailangan nang walang labis na burukrasya.

​Sa kanyang unang taon, pinatunayan ni Gov. Mujiv Hataman na siya ay isang tunay na "People's Governor." Binalik niya ang kapangyarihan at ang pagmamay-ari ng pamahalaan sa mga mismong mamamayan ng Basilan. Sa pamamagitan ng pagiging tapat sa kanyang mga pangako, nagdala siya ng bagong pag-asa at inspirasyon na ang gobyerno ay katuwang, kakampi, at laging maaasahan ng bawat Basileño.

​Habang nagpapatuloy ang kanyang termino, inaasahan ng marami na mas lalo pang mamamayagpag ang lalawigan ng Basilan sa ilalim ng isang pamunuan na may puso at tunay na malasakit sa kapwa.

The hosting of the 2026 Zamboanga Peninsula Regional Athletic Association (ZPRAA) Meet marks a definitive turning point for the city, signaling its emergence as a premier sports hub in Southern Philippines.

​What was once a distant aspiration has become a vibrant reality. This week, thousands of student-athletes, coaches, and spectators have gathered to witness a city transformed, proving that Isabela is no longer just a participant in regional progress—it is a leader.
