Mactan Elementary School celebrates Escoda Day!

Today, we honor the legacy of Josefa Llanes Escoda, a remarkable Filipina who dedicated her life to service, leadership, and empowering the youth.

May her example continue to inspire our young Girl Scouts to lead with courage, serve with compassion, and live by the values of honesty, discipline, friendship, and service. 💚

As we celebrate Escoda Day, may we remember that true scouting is not only about learning skills—it is about becoming a person who is always ready to help, serve, and make a difference.

Her legacy lives on through every young scout who chooses to serve. ⚜️🌿

Happy Birthday Ma’am Gege!🎉

Some people enter our lives and simply become part of the reason our days feel a little brighter. You are one of those people. Your kindness, warmth, and approachable nature make it so easy for others to feel comfortable around you. There is something so comforting about the way you care for people—almost like a mother's gentle embrace. ❤️
Thank you for being a light to your colleagues and to everyone fortunate enough to cross paths with you. Thank you for the little acts of kindness, the warmth you freely give, and the genuine concern you show to others. You may not always realize it, but these things leave beautiful marks on people's hearts.
On your birthday, my prayer is that God will give back to you all the love and kindness you have given so freely. May He refresh your spirit when you are tired, strengthen you when you feel weak, comfort you when your heart is heavy, and give you countless reasons to smile.
May the Lord bless your family, your work, your dreams, and every plan you place in His hands. May He guide your steps, protect your heart, and continue to make your life a beautiful reflection of His grace.

May God bless you today and always, and may this new chapter of your life be filled with His favor, peace, and overflowing blessings. 🙏💐💕

🙏✨A Blessed and Meaningful Prayer Mass ✨🙏

Today, our school community came together in faith, prayer, and thanksgiving as we celebrated our Prayer Mass-a beautiful reminder that when we gather in God’s presence, we are strengthened as one family. ❤️

Our heartfelt gratitude goes first to our School Principal, Mr. Leonardo E. Mar, for his unwavering support and leadership, and to our Campus Ministry Coordinator, Ma’am Era P. Baring, for her initiative and dedication in making this spiritual gathering possible.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to our ever-active teachers, supportive parents, dedicated acolytes, enthusiastic learners, and faithful catechists whose presence, service, and participation made this celebration truly meaningful.

Above all, we offer our deepest gratitude to our Lord Almighty for using our Presiding Homilist, Fr. Fernando A. Sotto Jr., to share His words to us and inspiring us through his reflection and celebration of the Holy Eucharist.

May today’s Prayer Mass continue to inspire us to live with faith in our hearts, love in our actions, and Christ at the center of our school community. 🙏💙

To God be all the glory!
