CRIME PREVENTION AWARENESS / DISTRIBUTION OF IEC MATERIALS

At around 8:3AM of August 6, 2026, personnel of Police Station 2, under the direct supervision of PMAJ FELIX C CLEOPAS III, Acting Station Commander, conducted a Crime Prevention Awareness campaign and distributed Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Brgy. Punta Engaño, Lapu-Lapu City.

The activity focused on raising public awareness of the Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313), Anti-Rape Law (RA 8353), anti-illegal drugs, anti-terrorism initiatives, and the Whole-of-Nation Approach under EO No. 70. and Anti-bullying awareness.

Residents were encouraged to remain vigilant, actively participate in crime prevention, and promptly report suspicious activities, further strengthening police-community partnership in maintaining peace and order.

POLICE PRESENCE | SCHOOL VISITATION

At around 7:26AM on August 5, 2026, personnel of Police Station 2, Lapu-Lapu City Police Office (PS2-LCPO), under the direct supervision of PMAJ FELIX C CLEOPAS III, Acting Chief of Police 2, conducted police visibility, school visitation and dialogue at Maribago Elementary School, Brgy. Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City.

Beat patrollers were deployed to ensure the safety of students, parents, teachers, and commuters, while maintaining peace and order during school hours. This proactive activity reflects the PNP's commitment to crime prevention, public safety, and stronger police-community partnership.

SQUAD WEEKLY INTERACTIVE MEETING (SWIM)

At around 8:00 AM of August 5, 2026, personnel of Police Station 2 (PS2), Lapu-Lapu City Police Office (LCPO), under the direct supervision of PMAJ FELIX C CLEOPAS III, Acting Station Commander, conducted the Squad Weekly Interactive Meeting (SWIM) through a virtual platform, with the participation of Squad 5 and Squad 6, held at Police Station 2, Barangay Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City.

During the activity, Squad 5 shared and discussed the message from 1 Timothy 6:17–19, which emphasizes the proper use of wealth, generosity, good deeds, and the importance of placing one’s hope in God rather than in material possessions.

Meanwhile, Squad 6 reflected on Psalm 23:4, which reminds everyone that even in times of difficulty, fear, and uncertainty, God’s presence provides courage, comfort, and strength.
The SWIM served as an avenue for personnel to strengthen their spiritual values, camaraderie, teamwork, discipline, and commitment to public service. The activity also encouraged meaningful interaction and reflection among personnel, reinforcing the importance of faith, integrity, and dedication in carrying out their duties as members of the Philippine National Police.

The activity concluded with a renewed commitment among personnel to uphold the PNP Core Values of Maka-Diyos, Maka-Tao, Makabayan, and to continue providing responsive, professional, and compassionate police service to the community.
