SQUAD WEEKLY INTERACTIVE MEETING (SWIM)
On August 6, 2026, PCMS Marlon Abella, squad leader, under the direct supervision of PMAJ ROMEO D CAACOY JR., Acting Chief, Mobile Patrol Unit (MPU), conducted Squad Weekly Interactive Meeting (SWIM) for Tactical Motorcycle Riding Unit (TMRU) personnel together with Mobile Patrol Crew.
The activity formed part of the Enhanced Revitalized PNP Internal Cleansing Strategy, aimed at strengthening discipline, professionalism, accountability, and moral values among personnel. During the meeting, relevant operational updates, reminders on police duties and responsibilities, and organizational concerns were discussed to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
The meeting also included a Bible sharing centered on Luke 12:48
“From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, even more will be asked.”
The verse encouraged personnel to entrust their plans, duties, and responsibilities to God, remain faithful in carrying out their mission, and uphold integrity and excellence in the performance of their duties as public servants.

MOBILE PATROL OPERATION | AUGUST 3, 2026
Mobile Patrol Unit personnel, under the direct supervision of PMAJ ROMEO D CAACOY JR., conducted mobile patrol operations through continuous roving within Lapu-Lapu City, particularly in crowded areas, commercial establishments, tourist destinations, and secluded or vulnerable locations.
The activity was carried out to enhance police visibility, monitor the prevailing peace and order situation, ensure public safety and security, and prevent the commission of crimes. Continuous roving and area inspections were conducted to deter criminal activities, provide immediate police response, and maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and tourists within the city.

FOOT PATROL OPERATION | AUGUST 2,2026
TMRU personnel, under the direct supervision of PMAJ ROMEO D CAACOY JR., conducted foot patrol operation in various strategic areas within Lapu-Lapu City, particularly in schools, public markets, residential areas, business establishments, banks, transport terminals, and other public places. The activity aimed to enhance police visibility, deter the commission of crimes, maintain peace and order, and ensure the safety and security of residents, students, workers, and visitors.
During the operation, personnel also interacted with members of the community, provided police assistance when necessary, and reminded the public to remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious persons or activities to the nearest police station.
