POLICE VISIBILITY/PRESENCE AND BEAT/FOOT PATROL IN SCHOOLS AROUND PS4 AOR.

On or about 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM of August 19, 2026, personnel of Police Station 4 (PS4), Lapu-Lapu City Police Office (LCPO), under the direct supervision of PMAJ ALLEN JUNE R. GERMODO, Acting Station Commander, PS4, LCPO, conducted police visibility, police presence, and beat/foot patrol operations in various schools within the station's Area of Responsibility (AOR) in connection with Balik Eskwela 2026–2027.
The deployment was conducted as a proactive crime prevention and public safety measure to maintain peace and order, deter criminal activities, and ensure the safety and security of students, parents, teachers, school personnel, and other stakeholders. Police visibility within and around school premises serves as an important deterrent against potential criminal activities by increasing the perceived risk of apprehension and discouraging individuals from committing unlawful acts.
Moreover, the activity aimed to strengthen the partnership between the PNP and educational institutions by promoting open communication, information sharing, and coordinated crime prevention efforts. Through regular coordination with school administrators, teachers, security personnel, and barangay officials, potential security concerns can be identified and addressed at an early stage, thereby contributing to the establishment of a safer and more secure learning environment.

ACTIONS TAKEN:
a. Conducted continuous police visibility and beat/foot patrol within and around school premises to deter criminal activities and ensure safety.
b. Maintained close coordination with school authorities, security personnel, and barangay officials for effective crime prevention and emergency response.
c. Increased police presence during student arrival and dismissal and remained alert for suspicious persons, activities, and security threats.
d. Encouraged stakeholders to promptly report suspicious activities and possible threats to the police.
e. Strengthened police-school partnership as a proactive measure to prevent crimes and maintain a safe and secure learning environment, particularly in light of recent school shooting incidents.

At around 8:00 AM onwards of August 19, 2026 Police Station 4 personnel Pat Karla Mae Talingting asst. WCPD under supervision of PMAJ ALLEN JUNE R GERMODO Acting Station Commander, PS4, LPO conducted Info Drive and Distribution of flyers to the resident's and motorists of Barangay Marigondon Lapu-lapu City. This initiatives aim to raise awareness of the campaign against terrorism in relation to NTF-ELCAC, combat illegal drugs, to support the Drug Reduction Program and Address the Anti-Bastos Law, VAWC,NPCS, Crime prevention tips, Safety tips and Station Hotlines number in case of emergency and as well as provide other practical tips for preventing criminal activities and strengthening local support, for the promoting drug reduction programs, and addressing other significant matters to aid the PNP's persistent campaign against illegal drugs and other relevant matters issues, supporting the PNP's ongoing campaign against illegal drugs, Awareness on the Campaign against Online Scammers and Child Trafficking and Sexual Extortion Activities. And also focused on strengthening community awareness regarding the adverse effects of Online E-Sabong, emphasizing its impact on individuals, families, and the community. Discussions highlighted the importance of responsible behavior, crime prevention, and public vigilance in addressing issues associated with illegal gambling and online betting activities.

At around 10:30 PM onwards of August 18, 2026 Police Station 4 personnel under the direct supervision of PMAJ ALLEN JUNE R GERMODO Acting Station Commander, PS4, LCPO, conducted Squad Weekly Interactive Meeting, gathered for an opening prayer to seek God's guidance, wisdom, and protection with the bible verse Matthew 5:16: “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
In today’s fast-paced and demanding world, this scripture encourages individuals to remain hopeful and faithful despite personal struggles. It teaches humility, resilience, and trust in the sustaining grace of Jesus Christ. By acknowledging our weaknesses, we open ourselves to greater spiritual strength and guidance.
This message calls on everyone to remain steadfast, support one another, and draw strength from faith, knowing that grace is always sufficient in every circumstance.
The prayer served as a reminder of the importance of unity, discipline, and commitment in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of every police officer. It also strengthened the morale and spiritual well-being of the personnel before the commencement of the scheduled activity.

Anti-Criminality Checkpoint Operation

‎On or about 9:00 PM-12:00 MN of August 18, 2026 Police Station 4 Personnel led by PLT ELMER ABESIA Deputy Station Commander under the supervision of PMAJ ALLEN JUNE R GERMODO, Acting Station Commander, PS4 , LCPO conduct Anti-criminality Checkpoint Operation together with Barangay Basak BPSO/Force Multipliers along Hawaiian Petron and cor. Mahayahay Marbeach Barangay Marigondon and hotshot Barangay Subabasbas Lapu-lapu City. This operation forms part of the continuous efforts of Police Station 4 to enforce existing traffic laws and ordinances within the City of Lapu-Lapu. To aimed to deter traffic violations, promote responsible driving, and maintain the orderly flow of traffic in accordance with City Traffic Ordinances and other related issuances.
‎The activity was conducted peacefully and positive results, with no untoward incidents happened.

At around 10:00 PM onwards of August 18, 2026 Personnel from Police Station 4 led by PLT ELMER ABESIA, Deputy PS4 under the direct supervision of PMAJ ALLEN JUNE R GERMODO Acting Station Commander,PS4, together with other Station, conducted Intensified Anti-Criminality Implementing Curfew hours,Oplan Bulabog/Galugad/Bakal and Sita in Barangay Basak, Lapu-lapu City.
The operation aimed to ensure strict compliance with existing laws and PNP policies prohibiting the carrying of fi****ms or any deadly weapons inside entertainment establishments and to maintain public safety and order. And also to discourage opportunities for criminal elements to take advantage of vulnerable youth during nighttime hours, and aligning with NTF-ELCAC objectives.
Implementing Curfews Hour's help create a safer community by reducing disturbances, crimes, and accidents often associated with unsupervised gatherings of minors during late hours.

At around 2:00 PM onwards of August 18, 2026, personnel of Police Station 4 (PS4), Lapu-Lapu City Police Office (LCPO), under the supervision of PMAJ ALLEN JUNE R. GERMODO, Acting Station Commander, PS4, LCPO, conducted Oplan Bandillo as part of the PNP's intensified public safety and crime prevention campaign.

The activity utilized megaphone announcements and direct engagement with the public to disseminate timely reminders on anti-theft and robbery prevention, loose fi****ms awareness, personal safety, and general crime prevention. The public was encouraged to remain vigilant, secure their valuables, exercise caution in crowded areas, avoid risky situations, and immediately report suspicious persons, activities, or incidents to the nearest police station.

The public was likewise reminded to dial 911 or contact the PS4 hotline numbers for immediate police assistance during emergencies.

The activity highlighted the importance of proactive police visibility, public vigilance, and active community participation in preventing crimes and maintaining peace and order. Through Oplan Bandillo, PS4, LCPO continues to strengthen its partnership with the community and reaffirm its commitment to preventive policing, public safety, and the protection of lives and property within its Area of Responsibility.

At around 10:30 AM onwards on August 18, 2026, personnel of Police Station 4 (PS4), Lapu-Lapu City Police Office (LCPO), Pat Karla Talingting, Assistant WCPD, under the supervision of PMAJ ALLEN JUNE R GERMODO, Acting Station Commander, PS4, LCPO, conducted an Information Drive and Distribution of Flyers to the residents of Barangay Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City.

The activity aimed to raise public awareness and strengthen community participation in the PNP's various campaigns, particularly the campaign against terrorism in coordination with NTF-ELCAC, the Anti-Illegal Drugs Campaign, Drug Reduction Program, Anti-Bastos Law, VAWC, NPCS, crime prevention, and public safety initiatives.
