Llanera MSMEs attended Technical and Advisory Visit
CABANATUAN CITY — Seven Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from the municipality of Llanera joined fellow business owners from Cabanatuan City in completing the Technical and Advisory Visit (TAV) and Basic Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) for Micro Establishments on August 24, 2026, at the CDRRMC Training Hall in Cabanatuan City.
The initiative was organized and facilitated by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Nueva Ecija Provincial Field Office, under the leadership of OIC-Field Officer Ms. Ethell C. Galvan. To support the local entrepreneurs throughout the session, the Municipality of Llanera led by Mayor Marilou Lapuz Pascual through its Public Employment Service Office (PESO), accompanied the town's delegation.
The capacity-building activity focused on equipping micro-enterprises with essential knowledge on occupational hazards, emergency preparedness, and labor standard compliance tailored to small-scale operations.
Through the TAV framework, DOLE aims to assist small business owners in voluntarily correcting labor and safety deficiencies. By helping local entrepreneurs build safer working environments, the program fosters business sustainability and protects worker welfare across Nueva Ecija.
