ANNOUNCEMENT

NO FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES | August 7, 2026

Based on the 6:45 PM weather bulletin issued by DOST-PAGASA, continuous rainfall is expected tomorrow due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) enhanced by Tropical Cyclone Maymay.

For the safety of our students, teachers, and school personnel, face-to-face classes at all levels are suspended on August 7, 2026.

Modular classes will proceed. Please wait for further instructions from your respective subject teachers in your group chats.

JHS Examination Schedule:
August 10–11, 2026 (Monday–Tuesday)

📚✨ Friday Read: Sparking Young Minds Through Stories! ✨📚

Another wonderful Friday Read session filled our library with imagination, laughter, and a love for reading! ❤

Today, our dedicated SCALI Library Club volunteers from Grade 6 – Visionary, Grade 7 – Osmeña, Grade 9 – St. Mark, Grade 11 – Deuteronomy, and Grade 12 – Colossians shared captivating stories with the pupils of Grade 2 – Perseverance, under the guidance of Ms. Mylene Dabu.

Every page turned, every story told, and every smile shared reminds us that reading has the power to inspire, connect, and shape young hearts. Thank you to our student volunteers for being excellent reading ambassadors and for making this Friday truly meaningful!

Together, we’re not just reading books, we’re building lifelong readers, one story at a time. ❤️📖

This afternoon at 1:15 PM, the SCALI Library Club continued its Friday Read program with the pupils of Grade 1 - Gratitude under the guidance of Miss Ma. Sabrina Paule.

Our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated student storytellers from Grade 6 – Compassion, Grade 9 – St. Mark, Grade 11 – Deuteronomy, and Grade 12 – Ephesians for sharing their time and love for reading. Your enthusiasm inspires our young learners to discover the joy of books, one story at a time.

Today is the first day of using our SCALI Library RFID Tapping Station for attendance!

How to Tap In:
✅ Tap your school ID on the RFID reader.
✅ Select your purpose of visit on the monitor.
✅ Wait for your photo to appear, this confirms your attendance has been recorded.
✅ Before leaving the library, tap your ID again to record your time out.

📚 Friday Read | July 17, 2026

Another meaningful Friday Read was held today, July 17, 2026, at 1:15 PM, as members of the SCALI Library Club shared the joy of reading with the pupils of Grade 1 – Honesty, under the guidance of their adviser, Ms. Elaine C. Juan.

Our volunteer readers came from Grade 6 – Visionary, Grade 11 – Chronicles, Grade 12 – Galatians, and Grade 12 – Ephesians, bringing stories to life and inspiring our young learners to discover the wonderful world of books.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated student readers for sharing not only stories but also their time, enthusiasm, and love for reading. Together, we continue to nurture a culture of literacy—one story at a time.

📚 First Friday Read of Academic Year 2026–2027 📚

The SCALI Library officially launched its First Friday Read for the Academic Year 2026–2027, bringing the joy of reading to our young learners.

Our first storytelling session was held with Grade 1 – Courage, under the guidance of Ms. Leslie Bautista. The activity was facilitated by our dedicated members of SCALI Library Club readers from Grade 6 – Compassion, Grade 9 – St. Matthew, Grade 11 – Deuteronomy, Grade 11 – Chronicles, and Grade 12 – Philippians.

Through engaging stories and interactive reading, our student volunteers inspired the pupils to develop a love for books, strengthen their listening and comprehension skills, and appreciate the value of reading at an early age. This meaningful activity also provided our volunteer readers with an opportunity to demonstrate leadership, confidence, and a spirit of service within the school community.

Together, let’s continue to nurture lifelong readers - one story at a time! 📖✨

📌 Late Upload

As part of the General Orientation Program for the opening of the School Year 2026–2027, the SCALI Library was given the opportunity to conduct its Library Orientation for the Elementary, Junior High School, and Senior High School Departments at the SCALI Covered Court during the morning sessions.

📅 Orientation Schedule

June 8, 2026 – Elementary Department
June 9, 2026 – Junior High School Department
June 10, 2026 – Senior High School Department

During the library’s allotted orientation session, students were introduced to the library’s facilities, services, borrowing procedures, library policies, and available learning resources. The orientation also highlighted how the SCALI Library supports students’ learning and academic success throughout the school year.

The session concluded with an interactive Question and Answer activity, where students who answered correctly received snacks as prizes. 🍪📚

Thank you to all the students who actively participated. We look forward to serving you throughout the school year and fostering a culture of learning, curiosity, and a love for reading.

📚 June 26, 2026 | SCALI Library Club 1st General Meeting

Our first general meeting was a success! We officially welcomed the new school year by electing our new set of club officers, revisiting the library activities that will continue this year, and sharing ideas for future programs that will make our club even more engaging.

Here’s to a year filled with leadership, teamwork, creativity, and a shared love for reading. Let’s make this school year one to remember! ♥️📖
