𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗢𝗔𝗡, 𝗠𝗣𝗔, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal of Sorsogon, headed by 𝗦𝗙𝗢𝟯 𝗥𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗟. 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘀 𝗜𝗜, 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫-𝐢𝐧-𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞, conducted leaflet distribution.
The activity aims to increase public awareness on fire prevention, promote safe practices, and encourage everyone to take proactive measures in preventing fire incidents.

The activity aimed to strengthen the capability of personnel to provide effective, efficient, and timely emergency medical assistance, ensuring proper, timely patient care and safe transport during emergency situations.

This routine activity aims to ensure that all firefighting equipment, and protective gear remain in excellent working condition and are always ready for immediate deployment during fire incidents and other emergencies. Regular maintenance enhances the reliability, safety, and operational performance of firefighting apparatus while extending the service life of essential equipment.
The activity demonstrates Matnog Fire Station’s unwavering commitment to maintaining operational readiness and providing prompt, efficient, and effective fire protection and emergency response services to the community. Through continuous equipment maintenance and preparedness initiatives, the station remains fully prepared to respond whenever duty calls.

Matnog Fire Station, under the leadership of 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗢 𝗙 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗚, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Regional Director, and direct supervision of 𝗙𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗖 𝗔 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗢𝗔𝗡, 𝗠𝗣𝗔, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, Sorsogon, headed by 𝗦𝗙𝗢𝟯 𝗥𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗟 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘀 𝗜𝗜, Officer-In-Charge, BFP Matnog Fire Station observes every Tuesday as Health and Wellness Day, one of the station’s Seven (7) Modes of Daily Activities.

Tuesday is dedicated to activities that promote the health, fitness, and overall well-being of our personnel. Through simple physical fitness activities and health checks, firefighters are given the opportunity to stay active, monitor their health, and maintain the physical readiness required in performing their duties.

Keeping our firefighters healthy, fit, and physically prepared is an essential part of operational readiness. A physically capable firefighter is better prepared to respond to emergencies and serve the community effectively.
