PRO3 appeals for public restraint as San Rafael investigation continues
Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) assures the public that a thorough and impartial investigation remains underway following the discovery of a vehicle in San Rafael, Bulacan, where a mother and her two minor children were found lifeless.
Investigators are awaiting the official results of the forensic examination, which will be crucial in establishing the circumstances surrounding their deaths. All available evidence, possible leads, and information gathered during the investigation are being carefully evaluated. No angle is being ruled out at this stage, and any conclusion will be based on the totality of verified evidence and official forensic findings.
PRO3 understands the public’s concern over this tragic incident. However, the Regional Office appeals for responsible sharing of information, particularly on social media, and asks the public to refrain from speculation, premature conclusions, and the circulation of unverified claims.
At this stage, assumptions unsupported by evidence may create confusion, affect the ongoing investigation, and cause further distress to the bereaved family.
Under the direction of PBGEN Jess B. Mendez, Regional Director, PRO3, investigators are pursuing all possible leads to establish the facts and determine whether there was any criminal involvement. Concerned units have likewise been directed to ensure that the investigation remains thorough, objective, and evidence-based.
PRO3 asks the public to allow investigators and forensic experts to complete their work. At a time when a family is grieving an unimaginable loss, compassion and restraint are equally important.
The public is also encouraged to rely only on information released through official police channels. Relevant updates will be provided once findings have been verified and their disclosure will no longer compromise the investigation.
As the investigation continues, PRO3 asks for the public’s patience, cooperation, and sensitivity. Above all, let us accord the victims and their family the dignity, privacy, and respect they deserve during this difficult time.
